Phrasal Verbs (Part 2)

Phrasal Verbs очень здорово помогают выделиться в плане богатства лексики.

Example 1)

- What does your name mean?

- Well, to the best of my knowledge, it stands for the unending, undying love for nature. It is a symbol of green trees and lush meadows.

Example 2)

-        What it is your favorite color?

-        I have always been keen on saturated, rich colors. I particularly like mauve because it brings out my best features. Very flattering.

Example 3)

-        How do you stay healthy?

-        As a rule, I try to avoid fatty foods such as burgers and pork pies. I also make sure that I eat fried meat as little as possible. Lately, I have also been trying to cut down on sugar.
