3) Можем дать позицию, которую вы будете опровергать: Some people hold an opinion…
4) Дать собственную позицию: In my view, ……
5) Определить цель данного эссе – this essay aims to….(refute/defend/contend)
6) Обозначить структуру эссе: In this essay…..firstly……secondly…..thirdly…..

Do you believe that people should seek to protect their own native languages from the influence of the English language?

Intro
There is no doubt that English is becoming increasingly important as a language of international communication in many spheres, such as trade, politics, and science. Not surprisingly, English words have appeared in many other languages throughout the world from French to Japanese. This has prompted people to seek to defend their languages from this type of change. However, I would argue that these efforts are likely to prove futile.
